At the foot of the Pisa Range, where cool alpine breezes temper the Central Otago sun, our vineyards, managed by Rob, rest quietly on the land we steward. This is a place shaped by time, wind, water and soil—an ideal setting for cool-climate viticulture. We grow exclusively the Pinot Noir varietal that suits this terroir —a grape as nuanced and expressive as the landscape it grows in.
Since 2021, we have selected a small parcel from our vineyard to craft a single-vineyard vintage in collaboration with a skilled local winemaker. The result is Tinwald Farm Pinot Noir: a limited-release wine that speaks of place, precision, and the quiet strength of regenerative farming.

Our approach to growing is guided by nature. As landholders verified as regenerating their land by the Savory Institute using EOV, our farming is regenerative by design and by outcome. The health of our soils, the vitality of our vines, and the resilience of our ecosystem are all part of the wine you taste in the glass.
