Experiences
Our farm is a living story of tradition, transition, and care for the land—and we love to share it with curious visitors.
We offer private tours that give an insider’s view of life on Tinwald Farm. Led by Jason, our Farm Manager, these tours offer a introduction to the farm’s story, its daily rhythms, and our regenerative approach to agriculture.
But no two visitors are the same—and no two tours need to be either.
For those with a particular interest, we’re happy to curate a more tailored experience. Whether you’re fascinated by:
- Sheep and wool production (including sheep shearing when in season)
- Grazing management (including interacting with livestock and working dogs)
- Working with Clydesdales, our beloved heavy horses
- Regenerative agriculture and how it’s shaping the future of farming
- Soil microbiology and the life beneath your feet
- Cool-climate viticulture and our single-vineyard Pinot Noir
We can curate an experience to suit your interests, your group, and your pace. You can go behind the scenes, ask questions, get your boots dusty, and leave with a deeper understanding of how a modern New Zealand farm works—with a strong nod to tradition and a firm eye on the future.
Whether you’re here for a short visit or looking for something more immersive, we’d love to share a slice of our world with you.
