About the Experience

Join us for a guided 8 km (5 mile) walk through the rolling foothills of Mount Pisa. With gentle gradients and around 150 m of total elevation gain, the walk takes approximately 2 hours at an easy pace. Along the way, your guide will share stories about our farm, vineyards, and regenerative farming practices.

To enjoy this experience, walkers should have a reasonable level of health and fitness. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions that could affect your participation, please let us know before confirming your booking so we can make sure the walk is suitable for you.

Safety on the Farm

Your safety is very important to us. While we take great care to maintain a safe walking environment, this is a working farm and there are natural hazards. Your guide will give a health and safety briefing before we start. We ask that you:

• Follow your guide’s instructions at all times.
• Stay on the marked walking track.
• Be mindful of your surroundings.

For the wellbeing of our farm animals and our guest experience, no dogs or other pets are allowed on this walk. The track is not suitable for pushchairs, prams and wheelchairs. We recommend that any children be at least of high school age.

Please wear sturdy walking or running shoes and bring clothing suited to the weather conditions (it can be cooler or wetter early and late in the season, and warmer with strong sun in summer). 

Pricing

• First guest: $57.50 (incl. GST)
• Additional guests in the same group: $17.25 each (incl. GST)

Payment is required in full by bank transfer at least 48 hours before your walk. Once we’ve received payment, we’ll confirm your booking and start time by email.

The walk is generally available from Labour Day weekend (25 October 2025) to Easter weekend (6 April 2026), but availability may vary depending on the farming calendar.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your confirmed start time, we may need to treat your booking as cancelled.

Cancellations

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• No-shows will be charged the full booking fee.
• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start time will be refunded in full to the bank account used for payment.

We may need to cancel or reschedule the walk if weather, safety, or other unforeseen circumstances arise. In these cases, we will offer a full refund or an alternative date.

Liability

By taking part in the 10,000 Steps Guided Farm Walk, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. The landowners and guides are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to you or your property during your visit.
